Madelyn Cline: Public Focus on Appearance Changes is “So Weird”

According to Cinemadrame News Agency, Madelyn Cline said in a new interview with Allure magazine that she found the excessive attention to her body and its changing appearance during the airing of “Outer Banks” to be “so weird.”
The “Glass Onion” actress, who has previously spoken about her eating disorder, said in the new interview: “People really like to specifically focus on weight. I think it’s so weird. My appearance changed in every season of ‘Outer Banks’ for different reasons: stress, breakups, healthy and unhealthy eating habits. This is just normal life. But God knows the camera captures everything.”
The fifth and final season of the teen series “Outer Banks” is currently filming. She continued: “In the comments section [of social media], we’re not always part of a family [and don’t act kindly].”
In another interview with the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, released yesterday, Cline spoke about the bittersweet feeling of the series ending: “We’ve been filming hard for six or seven years. It’s tough to shoot; it’s physically demanding.”
Cline recently joined the film “Day Drinker,” starring Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz, and will also be seen this year in the remake of “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”
